Reviewer Comments:
Creator Kevin Hanna (also creator of Starship troopers: Roughnecks, Frogchildren and much more) and Sean O’Reilly (owner/operator of Arcana Comics and creator of many titles including Kade and Ezra) team up to bring us a new story from Arcana comics.

Issue one of this new series brings us into the fold of an age old feud between modern robotics and bio engineering. Wilhelm The Tinkerer works hard at his final project, his last chance to truly make a name for himself and the science he feels so passionately about. Meanwhile in the streets below his mechanical fortress, the Haraway Fair reveals the most modern breakthroughs in science. Huxley (a biological creature of mysterious origins) and his creator sit idly by as the world looks past them in horror and of course ignorance. Soon the world’s eyes will open to a new creation of a Clock Work Girl.

The story itself looks good, it follows a very old plot of forbidden endearing and has very interesting characters. The art itself is vibrant and reminds me a lot of a Disney story. (probably because some of these guys have worked for Disney.) The staff whose making this are veterans of their art, and I expect to see a lot more from this story as it develops. So all in all stay tuned kiddies and enjoy the ride, because I smell the beginning of what could be a great franchise.
