Welcome to the Fanboy Buzz forums. I'll start us off with the intros.
As you know, my name is Scott Williams. I am a co-host on the Fanboy Buzz Comic Book Podcast and a co-owner of this site. I am currently serving as an active duty U.S. Army Paratrooper at Fort Bragg, NC.
I'm married to the most beautiful woman in the world and I have three children. This is my second marriage, as it is my wife's. What can I say? Everybody needs a starter-marriage. :P
My wife has a daughter from her previous marriage and I have two boys from mine.
I enjoy reading comic books, working on the website and pretty much anything geeky or tech.
My name is James Logan....after finishing my MBA and coming 12 credits away from getting my Bachelors in History and English before running out of financial aid, I finally have a full time job as the Inventory/Expense Coordinator for Made In Oregon stores.
I've been married for 16 years (together 21), and have three wonderful children; a 15 year old daughter, 12 year old son, and a 5 year old son. My daughter absolutely loves Yoda and Batman, the 12 year old is more into Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh rather than superheroes, and the 5 year old is into Scooby-Doo and loves the Hulk, because he is his favorite color....
I have been reading comics for over 35 years, long before I could actually read, starting with things like Richie Rich, moving up to the Marvel Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica, and finally becoming an X-fanatic. I stopped buying comics when I went back to college in 2004, and recently jumped back in with the new 52 (although I am about 3 months behind in reading....), and have yet to get back into Marvel comics.
Hi, My name is Stephen Jondrew, and I'm an alcoholic... oh wait, wrong group.
I am the co-host of the Fanboy Buzz podcast, and co-owner of the Fanboy Buzz site. I actually only had a little bit of exposure to comics until Scott and I created the site in 2005. I actually spent a lot of the first couple years reading indie review requests which I think has helped contribute to my enjoyment of simpler storylines.
I have a wife who is slowly coming out of her geek shell, even though she still gives me flack occasionally for mine, and I have a son named Grayson who is just 5 months old (with any luck he'll be as geeky as his dad).
Outside of comics I enjoy other geeky/techy stuff which will lead to a certain mystery project to be announced soon hopefully. I also help fellow co-host of the show Steven Boyd with the Walking Dead fansite Walkingthewalkingdead.com. I also enjoy anything audio or video wise, which is probably half the reason I don't mind spending time each week editing our podcast.
Although the family's vehicles are currently an SUV (Honda Element) and a Car (Chevy Cruze), I am at heart a truck guy, but my only experience with owning a truck (Chevy Avalanche) was short-lived when I wrote it off after 2 weeks.... one day though I'll be back.
I live in beautiful Western Canada and although we have a lot of rain, we have some of the nicest landscapes in the world - so I love living here.
Hello all, I'm Chris Ferrell an alum of WVU and a rabid fan. Hence why my twitter and facebook feeds blow up on gameday. In fact, I still live in Morgantown, the home of WVU. Makes it very easy to tailgate on gamedays that's for sure. Growing up as a miltary brat I moved around a lot so I have kind of just adopted Morgantown as my home, I've lived here longer than I've lived anywhere else.
I probably have too many interests in life but one of my longest held interests has been comics. I still have the first comic my Mom got for me around 1990. Its beat to hell because I read it so much and I still pull the book out from time to time to read it. Favorite Marvel characters are Spidey and Iron-Man. DC would be the Flash (Wally) and Nightwing. I've just recently started dabbling into the other publishers and some creator own content. I read comics up until about 2002 or so and then took a break until around 2007. It was actually the Marvel Civil War event that brought me back in.
I'm a long time SciFi fan. My dad made sure I watched Star Trek TNG, Star Wars, Babylon 5 and a variety of shows growing up. As I got older it was Stargate SG-1 and I blame my Dad because he got me hooked on the BSG reboot. Love that show! Pretty much if there is a comic or SciFi element I probably watch it or read it. However, the Lord of the Rings bores me. I don't hate it, I just am rather apathetic. Its a fact that frustrates many of my friends.
One of my recent hobbies has been podcasting. I've listened to podcasts for years but recently joined up with some folks to do a weekly show called All Things Good And Nerdy (www.ATGNPodcast.com)... pardon the shameless self promotion. :P You guys might have heard my voice on The Fanboy Buzz a few times as the guys have been nice enough to have me on as a guest a few times.
That's the basics at least. Nice to meet you all.

Wow! What a reboot from the ProjectFanboy that was around when I first broke into freelance writing back in 2008. Boy do I have some stories for you guys that remember me. Also curious if you need more reviewers/ may have some content for you to review real soon. :D Hope everyone is still kicking ass, and (to me) for the new guys "BRAVO!" Looking hella awesome out there.
Good news - after several months offline we’re back! While the site is currently in an inactive state, it seemed only fair to leave an archive of the site online. There were a lot of folks over the years which put their time, effort and hard work into developing content for us so why not continue sharing this with the world? Feel free to browse the archive and who knows, perhaps one day we’ll return (or maybe even post an update from time to time).
Looking for some of those voices you heard on our podcast? Well it turns out that quite a few of them have moved on to other podcasting endeavors, many of which are part of the GonnaGeek Network.
It's important to note that those other projects (including GonnaGeek) are their own entities and are not affiliated with Fanboy Buzz/Project Fanboy.
