JON STANICEK & M. QUANN BOYD LAUNCHES KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN FOR SIX ISSUE LIMITED SERIES BLOSSOMING BUSHIDO

San Diego, CA – August 14, 2012: Co-Creators Jon Stanicek and M. Quann Boyd are proud to present a Kickstarter campaign for Blossoming Bushido.The six-issue limited series follows the intersecting lives of an awkward, emotionally withdrawn, 5th grade girl, FELICIA FABIAN, and a samurai of high intelligence and superior killer instinct, KAZUMA THE UNMERIFUL. The limited series is infused with M. Quann Boyd’s witty dialog, rhythmic storytelling and dark comedic charm as well a series artist Jon Stanicek’s realistic approach to characters that brings the world of Blossoming Bushidoto life.

M. Quann Boyd holds both undergrad (Knox College, 2003) and graduated (Chatham University, 2011) degrees in Creative Writing, with two published short stories under his belt (The Love Moment and Hate… Reasons to be Happy) and he has recently been a contributor to fanboybuzz.com as a reviewer and reporter. Jon Stanicek is a freelance artist with experience in Web Design, Graphic Art, Storyboard and Illustration work, as well as fine art painting. He’s also worked on several comics projects of note, Jeremiah Cooperand Health Heroes Inc. Shakti Warriors.
