Gagnon Named Producer of HEROized

Friday, September 30th, 2011, Hamilton, ON – International media firm X-Company has named Mike Gagnon as Producer of their new branding service HEROized.

Gagnon is a Canadian writer and artist, best known for over a decade of work in the comic book industry for small press and mainstream publishers alike.

“It’s great fun. It’s incredible to speak with interesting people all over the world and HEROize them.” said Gagnon. “It’s an incredible honour that X-Company believes in my skills enough to put me in charge of this venture.”

HEROized is a personal and business image branding service owned by the Australian based, X-Company Inc. The service offers business teams and regular people the opportunity to be turned into dynamic comic-book themed characters, based on a person’s real features and personality. According to the company website, clients use these identities to build brand recognition on social networks, business marketing, and fostering inter-office culture with team building exercises and rewards.

“Mike…quickly stood out from the crowd with his professionalism and skill.” said X-Company President Dave Rosen. “He’s doing an AWESOME job. His role is a continual challenge and he continues to break on through…after developing HEROized I had to hand it over to someone to manage day-to-day, and I knew Mike was the perfect match.”

Gagnon’s work has been getting more attention in the last two years thanks to some higher profile work for major publishers like Marvel Comics and Dark Horse Entertainment, and a string of work on the Classics Illustrated comic series. Gagnon started with X-Company as a writer for their children’s website, x-worlds.com, prior to being promoted to his position as lead producer and client engager for HEROized.

“I promised myself that 2011 was going to be my year. I’ve been making use of every day to reach the goals I’ve set for myself. I plan to continue into 2012 with positive momentum and keep generating my best work for myself and X-Company.” said Gagnon. “My colleagues at X-Company have been incredibly supportive, we use HEROized for our own team and I think it contributes to our success and co-operation greatly.”

HEROized offers a variety of packages for personal and business uses at multiple price points. You can find out more at www.heroized.com
