After that we’ll get an on-location version of CCL’s Pick of the Week (IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #2), Stephen Supports Sucky Comics (Game of Thrones #1) and Off the Beaten Path (DMZ). Then we’ll get into our once again modified version of Off the Beaten Path where we’ll review the past week’s DCNu #1 Issues including Batman and Robin #1, Batwoman #1, Deathstroke #1, Green Lantern #1, Grifter #1, Legion Lost #1, Mister Terrific #1, Red Lantern #1 and more. Hello Guys,

Resurrection Man: the character was a nineties property who attains different powers when he dies and comes back from the dead.

I agree about Mr. Terrific – I honestly would have pushed Vixen if they needed a black hero.

And I would have enjoyed a return of Icon or Hardware for this new series as well.

Toad vs. Frogman vs. Amazing Spider Man (Black Costume)) – very fun book from the eighties.

1st – Thanks for the feedback again Joe.
2nd – When did they step down? That’s crazy!
3rd – *puts that book on his list of stuff-to-find* – Sounds very interesting. What exactly is it about?

Static Shock announcement was Sept 15. I saw it on comicrelated, but I found you a reference to it on komplicated:

I will check my back issues and give you the issue for Frogman and Toad showdown. From what I remember, these two were tired of being C-listers and engage each other in the course of one of them botching a petty crime.

The plot was something like “There can be only one poorly costumed, idiotically named, little respected, hopping freak in the world and it will be me!”

Spiderman plays referee more than crimefighter in this one. I will look for it tonight and update you with the proper title and issue number.

All this talk about being in and out of the new 52 made me want to post a quick review of each of the 52 in the forum.

…only to realize the forum was gone :(

But if any of the old PF forum goers miss getting together to talk, I’ve been posting at the SuperHeroHype forum for years now. I’m even part of the RPG community we’ve built up there for anyone who wants to play as characters; comic and non-comic alike. Good chance to brush up on their writing skills to an interactive (SHAMELESS PLUG :p)

And I’m going to post my 52 reviews there. (ANOTHER SHAMELESS PLUG :p)

Haha. Fair enough. There just wasn’t a demand for a forum at this time. Perhaps one day we’ll bring it back.

Of course it’d be irresponsible of me if I didn’t mention that ComicCollectorLive.com has a forum too which I encourage everyone to check out.

I meant to check that forum out. Completely forgot until you mentioned it.

Maybe I’ll pimp my stuff there too! :p
