Hey Guys,
In response to the Netflix and the bandwidth costs. It is all cheaper than med insurance, training, salaries and every expense for a work force.
The tech is always cheaper than wetware (people).

Action Comics – Superman is the theft of the Maxx plotline: street side superhero or crazy, homeless guy.
Jason – maybe the new Supes is not invulnerable.

In regards to Borders closing, they’ve been saying for 10 years now that the internet would kill off the brick and mortar stores. And they were right, it’s just been a relatively slow transition until the last few years.
I really liked the link of how chain stores killed mom and pop shops, and how internet stores are killing chain stores. And I agree that this is a chance for mom and pop shops to make some sort of comeback. The chain stores are dying under the weight of their own square footage. The financial demand on mom and pop stores is far smaller, and consumers can get their stuff instantly, rather than waiting or paying for shipping online.
